About the role

The Premier Banker role is dedicated to servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role is responsible for managing these clients' banking relationships and connecting them with specialists to meet all their financial needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and address banking needs of mass affluent clients through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
  • Convert referrals, leads, and prospecting efforts to acquire new mass affluent clients.
  • Engage in client outreach via phone, email, appointments, and other means to regularly meet with clients.
  • Review and analyze financial information, suggest appropriate solutions, and coordinate introductions/interactions with appropriate partners.
  • Provide excellent client service, escalate banking issues/risks when necessary, and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate loan applications and closings, maintaining an active NMLS registration status.
  • Collaborate with partners like Wealth Financial Advisors for client interactions and referrals.
  • Implement TD’s client Identification Program (CIP) and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2+ years financial/banking experience.
  • Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) completion preferred.
  • Licensed in Life and Health preferred.
  • Experience with retail and small business banking.
  • Understanding and experience with banking products and services.
  • Active NMLS registration status upon hire.
  • Consultative sales experience required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in banking and credit products, offerings, and processes.
  • Ability to explain banking solutions to clients and act as an experienced liaison with internal partners.
  • Strong client service skills and ability to perform multi-step customer transactions.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant Retail/Wealth policies, procedures, FINRA, and regulatory banking requirements.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to regulations, TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures.
  • Ability to implement TD’s client Identification Program (CIP).
