Premier Banker
Target range: $20.00/hr. - $25.00/hr. Actual starting pay varies based on geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. This role is commission eligible.
About the role
Axos Bank is hiring a Premier Banker who is responsible for driving cross-sell services, products, and features with new and existing customers, including other business verticals, with the objective to promote the bank’s products and contribute to department and enterprise goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of Premier client deposit relationships, with a strong focus on balance growth, fund retention, and overall portfolio profitability.
- Actively protect and retain client deposits through proactive engagement, timely outreach, and tailored pricing or solution discussions when balances are at risk.
- Serve as a trusted financial partner by understanding clients’ financial needs and recommending appropriate deposit, lending, and treasury solutions.
- Generate new business through referrals, inbound requests, and targeted outreach, including opening new accounts and ensuring timely funding.
- Deepen existing relationships through thoughtful cross-selling of relevant bank products and services aligned to client goals.
- Maintain strong, long-term client relationships by delivering responsive service, resolving inquiries, and addressing escalations promptly.
- Retain and expand existing business by leading rate discussions, addressing client concerns, and consistently delivering value that reinforces Axos as the client’s primary banking relationship.
- Cross-sell products and services to customers based on their financial needs alongside asking for additional funds.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of banking experience, ideally in relationship management, sales, call center, or client advisory roles.
