About the role
The Premier Banker is an experienced banker responsible for servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role involves managing these clients' complete banking relationships and connecting them with specialists to meet all financial needs.
Responsibilities
- Grow, deepen, and retain client relationships through proactive outreach and advice-based approaches.
- Manage and address clients' banking needs with a focus on banking and credit products, offerings, and processes.
- Convert referrals, leads, and prospecting efforts to acquire and retain new mass affluent clients.
- Engage in client outreach and conduct needs-based conversations, reviewing and analyzing financial information.
- Provide excellent client service, escalate issues when necessary, and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
- Facilitate loan applications, prepare documents, and conduct loan closings.
- Understand and comply with regulations, policies, and procedures, including maintaining an active NMLS registration.
- Collaborate with partners to deepen relationships and prepare for future client interactions.
- Coach and provide feedback to bank staff on effective methods to articulate the Premier program's value and make Premier referrals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years financial/banking experience
- Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) completion preferred
- Life & Health license preferred
- Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking
- Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
- Active NMLS registration upon hire
- Consultative sales experience required
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's / University degree or equivalent experience preferred
