About the role
The Premier Banker role is dedicated to servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role focuses on managing these clients' banking relationships and ensuring all financial needs are met through a proactive and advice-based approach.
Responsibilities
- Manage and address banking needs of mass affluent clients through proactive outreach and needs-based conversations.
- Convert referrals, leads, and outbound prospects into new clients.
- Engage in client outreach via phone, email, appointments, and other means to meet with clients regularly.
- Review and analyze financial information, suggest appropriate solutions, and coordinate introductions/interactions with appropriate partners.
- Provide excellent client service, escalate banking issues/risks when necessary, and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
- Facilitate loan application intake and maintain an active NMLS registration.
- Partner with Wealth Financial Advisors for warm referrals and joint pipeline meetings.
- Coach bank staff on effective methods to articulate the Premier program's value and make Premier referrals.
- Understand and comply with regulations, policies, and procedures, including the Client Identification Program (CIP).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years financial/banking experience
- Successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE)
- Licensed in Life and Health preferred
- Experience with retail and small business banking
- Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients
- Active NMLS registration upon hire
- Consultative sales experience required
Qualifications
