About the role

The Premier Banker role is dedicated to servicing complex client portfolios of mass affluent clients. This role focuses on growing, deepening, and retaining these clients through proactive outreach and a personalized, connected experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and address banking needs of mass affluent clients through a proactive advice-based approach.
  • Fluently explain banking solutions and act as an experienced liaison with internal partners in small business, wealth, commercial, and lending areas.
  • Convert referrals, leads, and prospects to establish and retain strong relationships with new clients.
  • Regularly meet with clients to conduct needs-based conversations, review financial information, and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Deliver excellent client service, handle banking-related issues, and escalate risks when necessary.
  • Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, FINRA, and regulatory banking requirements.
  • Engage with partners like Wealth Financial Advisors for joint pipeline and review meetings, and coach bank staff on effective methods to articulate the program's value.
  • Understand and comply with regulations, TD Bank & TD Wealth Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2+ years financial/banking experience.
  • Successfully completed the Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE).
  • Preferred Life & Health license.
  • Understanding and experience with retail and small business banking.
  • Experience interacting with Mass Affluent and high net worth clients.
  • Maintain an active NMLS registration status.
  • Consultative sales experience required.

Qualifications
