Preconstruction Manager (Build Construction, NYC)

We are partnering with a leading build and construction investor developer in NYC to attract an experienced Senior Preconstruction Manager for their New York team.

About the role

You will lead and manage preconstruction services for commercial-sector projects across New York City, including high-end office space, hotels, hospitality, retail, and emerging work in data centers and industrials. Responsibilities span from early design through final sign-off, providing feasibility assessments, cost estimates, and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for commercial build and construction projects.
• Provide expertise from early design through final project sign-off.
• Deliver feasibility studies and cost estimates.
• Prepare and present pricing proposals.
• Act as lead on various bids.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge.

Requirements

• Relevant construction-focused degree or Master’s.
• Proven preconstruction experience in the commercial build and construction market.
• Experience leading bids and mentoring others.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Pay

Competitive salary in the range of $175,000 – $220,000 per annum.
