Precision Farming Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide sales support to the Ag locations on product knowledge relative to the software & hardware on combines, planters, tractors, & sprayers electronic monitoring and application systems.
• Aid in developing and implementing a marketing program that promotes related key services.
• Provide education to the sales staff regarding agronomic advantages.
• Communicate manufacturer updates to the sales staff.
• Conduct product meetings with customers and sales personnel.
• Complete product demonstrations, and equipment deliveries whenever necessary.
• Call on customers and sell the company’s products and services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key crop protection retailers & wholesalers to better serve their related product needs.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities to provide and keep a safe environment for all customers and employees.
• Keep current on product knowledge, features, and benefits of all products.
• Maintain updated manuals and materials.
• Provide activity reporting as directed.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
