Pre-Licensing Insurance Trainer

Responsibilities
- Lead structured, instructor led sessions covering Life & Health fundamentals, Medicare basics, ethics, compliance, and exam readiness (25–35%)
- Oversee, monitor, and support agents completing self paced pre licensing coursework (65–75%), ensuring progress, comprehension, and accountability
- Provide coaching, study strategies, practice questions, and readiness assessments
- Maintain accurate attendance, progress logs, and completion records for compliance and audit readiness
- Offer individualized guidance, answer questions, and reinforce key concepts to ensure learner success
- Support pre AEP staffing surges by delivering accelerated or condensed training cycles as needed
Requirements
- Experience in Life & Health insurance, Medicare sales, or pre licensing instruction
- Some understanding of NCDOI (North Carolina Department of Insurance) licensing requirements
- Demonstrated ability to teach complex regulatory content clearly and confidently
- Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills
- Ability to manage large groups of learners in both instructor led and self study formats
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a trainer, educator, or facilitator in insurance
- Experience supporting call center or sales environments
- Some understanding of NCDOI licensing requirements
- Background in adult learning principles and learner engagement strategies

Work Schedule

Pay
$38-$41 per hour
