About the role
The Atlantic District is looking for a Licensed Insurance Agent to join our team in Farmington, Maine. This role offers the chance to help people make sense of their coverage and provides a meaningful impact in your community.
Responsibilities
- Talk with customers to understand their insurance needs and recommend the right coverage options
- Build quotes, review policy details, and help clients make informed decisions
- Develop lasting relationships through attentive service and thoughtful follow-up
- Respond to questions, policy changes, and service requests with care and accuracy
- Identify opportunities to round out coverage and protect what matters most to each client
- Keep accurate records of client conversations, quotes, and policy activity
- Work closely with the agency team to support a smooth and positive client experience
- Stay current on product changes, carrier updates, and insurance regulations
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license
- Prior experience in insurance sales or a similar client-facing sales role
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written
- Ability to explain coverage options clearly and confidently
- Comfort working with clients in person and over the phone
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM or agency management systems
- An organized approach to follow-up, quoting, and policy documentation
- Knowledge of personal lines insurance products, preferred
