About the role

The Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a state-funded educational program for 4-year-old children in Georgia. The Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing these children based on their individual needs and the program's requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and be an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards, and GA Pre-K program requirements.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote the child's achievement and support the center's success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, approved related degree, or higher credential.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
