About This Role

Golden Path Academy in Stephenson, VA is hiring a Lead Teacher to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $16 – $18/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional care and supervision to children, implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Foster supportive relationships with children, co-teachers, and parents, setting a positive example for your students.
• Develop and implement lesson plans.
• Create a safe and organized classroom environment.
• Track individual child development and submit bi-annual progress reports.
• Nurture positive relationships with parents through regular communication.
• Utilize a school-provided application to stay connected with parents daily.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have fulfilled a high school program or the equivalent.
• Must meet *one* of the following:
• Hold a bachelor's degree in a child-related field.
• Have 3 months of program experience and an early childhood certificate or CDA.
• Have 6 months of supervised program experience and 24 hours of approved training.
• Have 48 semester hours of college credit, with 12 hours in child-related subjects, and one year of program experience.
