About the role
The Lead Teacher is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the classroom, ensuring that all children are safe, healthy, and engaged in learning activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Oversee classroom management and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for all students.
- Develop and implement educational programs aligned with curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress and provide individualized support where needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and community members to enhance educational experiences.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student performance to parents and administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Valid state teaching license.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in an early childhood setting.
- Experience working with diverse populations and ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in using technology for lesson planning and communication.
