About the role
We are seeking a Lead Teacher for a progressive preschool in the Irvine area. The position is open to candidates who have a passion for early education and meet all the specified requirements.
Responsibilities
- Implement an emergent curriculum and a blended curriculum.
- Work with children of all ages, meeting their individual needs.
- Collaborate in a team environment while also being able to work independently.
- Prioritize responsibilities and manage time effectively.
- Be punctual and dependable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Qualify for the Master Teacher Permit.
- Three years of classroom teaching experience.
- Fluency in English.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- The capacity to sit, stand, squat, or climb for extended periods.
Compensation
$26 to $30 per hour; compensation is based on education and experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday; flexible schedule between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.
