Caring Hearts Childcare Center is seeking passionate, nurturing, and dedicated Lead Teachers to join our growing nonprofit early learning community. As a member of our founding team, you won't simply be stepping into an existing program—you'll help build it. This is a unique opportunity to help shape our culture, traditions, classroom environments, and educational practices from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• Social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development
• Build strong, positive partnerships with families
• Observe and document children's growth and developmental progress
• Mentor and support Assistant Teachers and classroom staff
• Help ensure compliance with licensing regulations and center policies
• Serve as a positive role model for children, families, and colleagues
• Be current on MMR and TDAP Vaccinations

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
• Three or more years of experience working in an early childhood setting

Qualifications

• Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Genuine passion for working with young children and families
