Pre-Apprenticeship Program
About the role
Community Council Health Systems (CCHS) has a Twelve-Week Pre-Apprenticeship and Internship Opportunity, in partnership with JEVS Human Services. Through this partnership, CCHS is committed to workforce development, community engagement, and creating meaningful pathways for students and emerging professionals.
Responsibilities
This program is currently operating as a pre-apprenticeship while it is the formal registration process with the State of Pennsylvania Apprenticeship & Training Office. Participants commit to approximately three days a week, for four hours each day, over the twelve-week period. Qualified participants will transition into the Apprenticeship Program. The program is open to high school students, college students, and community members, and is structured as a pre-apprenticeship-style experience, leading to apprenticeships, internships and career opportunities, depending on a student's academic standing and goals. All learning materials are provided to the participants to support participation and reduce financial barriers.
