Pre-Analytical Assistant I - 1st Shift

Pride Health is supporting a top-tier healthcare organization with a 4+ month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) in Lenexa, KS.

About the role

As a Specimen Processing - Pre-Analytical Assistant I, you will handle the receipt, preparation, and management of clinical lab specimens in a fast-paced medical facility.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot any specimen-related issues
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical training (e.g., medical assistant or paramedic training) preferred

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM CST

Pay

$18/hour (W-2), based on experience and educational qualifications
