About the role
The Pre-Analytical Assistant I supports the Technical Operations Department by performing general support functions.
Responsibilities
- Minimal data entry skills
- Good organizational skills
- Understanding of specimen types related to test(s) ordered
- Compliance regulations related to test ordering
- Specimen handling and delivery
- Specimen storage
- Centrifugation
- Aliquoting

Position Requirements/Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical background preferred
- Previous production environment experience preferred
- Familiarity with mainframe computers preferred
