PRADA Operations Manager Houston
About the Role
The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating daily operations within the store, aligning business priorities with the General Manager/Store Director.
Responsibilities
- Monitor all in-coming and out-going merchandise (in-transit/transfers of finished product, packaging, and props)
- Oversee all aspects of messenger service, UPS, and MALCA involving shipments/transfers
- Review all expense reports and monitor P&L's for store's controllable costs
- Work with store leadership on new hire trainings
- Monitor key KPIs weekly: Cycle counts, system downloads, in-transit, special stock, negatives - all reports that relate to inventory levels
- Communicate with Corporate office to ensure new hires have uniforms and new season uniforms arrive timely, allocated per guidelines
- Monitor return of uniforms by terminated employees and ensure end-of-season destruction of old uniforms
- Ensure all transactions processed in-store are in order and in accordance with Corporate procedure
- Ensure Closing procedures are followed daily
- Support tailor shop with supply orders, equipment issues, and maintenance according to Corporate standards
- Monitor sensor application/procedures for display products
- Ensure proper floor presence and awareness
- Touch base with support staff management and team to align on business priorities
- Authorize schedules for all support staff and create support management schedules
- Process payroll for all support staff, including authorization and allocation of OT
- Prepare/write annual reviews for all support staff and support management
- Document disciplinary actions and performance progress reports for all support staff and support management
- Prepare in-depth for inventory, working closely with Corporate office team
- Spearhead full inventory process, coordinate schedules, and reconcile results
- Liaise with local store operations/loss prevention to track stock losses
- Oversee and schedule weekly cycle counts, compile results monthly, and send to Corporate
- Ensure completion and communication of all Incident Reports ("IRs") to store management
- Manage maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of stockrooms, common areas, and front of house
- Communicate issues to Technical/Facilities Department and report daily maintenance issues
- Execute all support-related direction from Corporate partners
- Support Sales target/budget of store, aligning priorities with General Manager/Store Director
- Facilitate execution of support-related requests from corporate partners
- Act as main point of contact for Store Operations function, ensuring implementation of all initiatives in-store
