Practice Supervisor

About the Role

Supervises the day-to-day administrative and clinical area of assigned staff. Ensures established patient care, and operational/employee policies are upheld and maintained. Leads or mentors lower-level team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the provider's schedules, ensuring daily staff schedules/coverage is appropriate for clinic visits.
• Exercise supervisory controls for employees related to time and attendance and work assignments.
• Coach, train, and evaluate staff, monitor compliance, and spot-check staff performance.
• Ensure clinic staff is in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Review reports and assist staff with understanding the significance of the report information.
• Perform primary medical functions and direct patient care.
• Assess staffing needs, maintain the master work schedule, and make staffing recommendations to management.
• Maintain inventory of all clinic supplies.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service delivery protocol and treatment standards.
• Ability to give and receive feedback, both informally and formally.
• Ability to provide a high standard of record keeping.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.

Education

High School diploma or GED is required.

Experience

Three (3) years of related experience is required.
