Practice Manager - Veterinary
About the role
The North Peninsula Veterinary Emergency Clinic (NPVEC) seeks an experienced Practice Manager to lead hospital operations, deliver exceptional care, and build strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
Partner with the Medical Director to align hospital operations with standards, medical excellence, and client experience goals.
Champion company values, ensuring high-quality patient care and service.
Identify and implement solutions to enhance workflow, productivity, and outcomes.
Recruit, train, coach, and manage team members.
Create development plans and support ongoing training for associates.
Build schedules to ensure appropriate coverage, efficiency, and compliance with labor standards.
Conduct performance reviews, wage planning, and staffing analysis aligned with hospital growth.
Lead the client experience, ensuring timely and effective resolution of client concerns.
Oversee phone etiquette, online reviews, and client communication practices.
Collaborate with hospital leadership and support teams.
Maintain communication and participate in performance reviews and action planning.
Build relationships with internal partners, clients, and the community.
Qualifications
Preferred: Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in medical, veterinary, or healthcare operations management.
Strong knowledge of human resources practices, scheduling, and employee development.
Experience with sales, marketing, and financial performance management.
Veterinary industry knowledge strongly preferred.
Proven leadership, decision-making, and coaching skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: Up to $110,000
