About the role

The Practice Manager at Hometown Veterinary Partners supports the core beliefs of Culture, Collaboration and Community. They provide a variety of coordinating, supervisory, and technical functions within the Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the hospital's culture by maintaining a positive, supportive, and collaborative work environment.
  • Hires, retains, trains, and develops medical staff.
  • Onboards new team members and trains hospital teams on workflows and systems.
  • Implements customer retention and engagement strategies and tactics.
  • Provides a positive and exceptional client experience.
  • Gives input, ideas, and suggestions for continual improvement of the practice environment.
  • Guides and utilizes exceptional support staff.
  • Familiarizes themselves with quality, safety, and health initiatives ensuring all licenses are up to date and in compliance with state or federal guidelines.
  • Ensures the medical staff and facility comply with federal rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience in any industry.
  • 3-5 years of veterinary experience.

Pay

Competitive compensation.

Schedule

Variable hours based upon the needs of the hospital, working a minimum of 32 hours and up to 40 hours per week, depending on staffing needs, with oversight and supervision by leadership.
