About the role
The Practice Manager oversees and directs the functions of the Northwest Digestive Center, ensuring compliance with organizational and corporate policies, procedures, goals, and budgets. This role ensures that fiscal functions are conducted according to GAAP and specific practices, and that billing and coding practices adhere to state, federal, and local laws.
Responsibilities
- Ensure registration, billing, collection, and medical records departments comply with organizational and corporate policies.
- Oversee the integrity of patient, staff, and physician records, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Manage the billing and collections processes in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to general healthcare billing/collections and electronic medical records systems (specifically Greenway).
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Effective communication skills, including verbal, written English, and public speaking.
- Ability to set and achieve personal and professional development goals.
- Experience in budgeting and personnel management, with evidence of continuing education relevant to the job.
- Experience with healthcare billing/collections and electronic medical records systems (specifically Greenway).
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
