Practice Manager II
About the role
The position is incentive eligible. This opportunity is with Memorial Health - Surgical Specialists, part of HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Directs and supervises the day-to-day functions in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Carries out all established policies.
- Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs the day-to-day functions of the clinics and its programs and activities.
- Interprets the practice’s policies and procedures to employees, patients, family members, government agencies, etc., as necessary.
- Maintains an adequate liaison with patients.
- Maintains an excellent working relationship with the medical profession, providers, and other health-related facilities and organizations.
- Recruits, interviews, selects, and hires practice personnel, supervisors and staff members.
- Assumes the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing the activities and programs of the market/division.
- Develops and maintains the practice budget.
- Reviews and checks competence of work force and makes necessary adjustments/corrections as instructed by leadership.
- Ensures that an adequate number of appropriately trained professionals and personnel are on duty at all times to meet the needs of the patients.
- Adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.”
Qualifications
- Minimum three to five years’ experience in a healthcare or clinic setting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in health or business administration or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
