Practice Manager I
Job Summary
The Practice Manager is responsible for designated practices and collaborates within an integrated healthcare delivery system. This position develops plans to identify and reach short and long-term goals and assures development and compliance with operating and capital budgets and achievements of financial performance. This role supports 6-11 providers and supervises the staff associates.
Responsibilities
- Administers business, financial, and practice functions of the practice.
- Supports the development and maintenance of physician and community relations to further the delivery of services within the community.
- Serves as a patient advocate and promotes ethical management behavior.
- Builds collaborative relationships with physicians and other members of the management team.
- Serves as the liaison with each service line and joint venture within the clinic.
- Buils strong relationships with physicians and associates for the Physician Group.
Job Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare related field with at least one year management experience.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and skills to lead a small business.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding key performance metrics.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field.
Physical Requirements
Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
