Responsibilities
- Manage practice operations budget, registration, scheduling, visit closing, billing/collection and clinical information processes and systems are functioning effectively and on a timely basis.
- Ensure effective operations in accordance with established NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group (NYPMG) procedures.
- Determine work schedules, including holiday and vacation time.
- Cultivate teamwork with high level of communication amongst staff.
- Work closely with Directors to implement workflows to improve patient access and patient satisfaction.
- Cook up activities, tools, etc. with other office and hospital departments/practices and service groups, as necessary.
- Maintain practice standards and adhere to quality goals and other performance criteria including budget to actual volumes.
- Preserve a safe environment including office procedures to sustain a high level of patient and staff safety.
- Perform all duties inherent to managerial role. Participate in hiring, training, evaluation and termination of assigned staff according to NYPMG policies and procedures.
- Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- This is a full-time day shift position (9am - 5pm), Monday - Friday. This practice is located on Horace Harding Expressway in Fresh Meadows, NY.
Preferred Criteria
- Master's degree in healthcare or business administration.
- 2+ years’ practice management experience.
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practice management experience
- Previous management experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of EHR and practice management billing/scheduling systems
- Knowledge of medical information and practice compliance and regulatory standards
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and people management skills

Pay
$89,000-$111,500/Annual
Schedule
