Practice Manager - ENT

About the Role

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children seeks a Practice Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight for single or multiple practice sites. This role holds administrative authority over physicians and full authority over support staff, including department leads and supervisory personnel. The Practice Manager ensures efficient operations that maximize provider productivity while delivering quality patient care.

The role involves close collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), and staff to align operations with senior management objectives. The Practice Manager oversees financial operations, including budget development, revenue enhancement, capital expenditures, cost efficiencies, and financial reporting to improve practice performance.

Additional responsibilities include organizing and leading monthly Physician/Management meetings, enforcing compliance with policies and procedures, and acting as a delegate for administrative functions in the absence of the Director.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and evaluate administrative and non-physician clinical staff.
• Oversee financial operations, including budget development, revenue enhancement, capital expenditures, and cost efficiencies.
• Provide staffing needs and set practice goals in alignment with senior management objectives.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and staff to ensure efficient operations and quality patient care.
• Participate in creating and analyzing financial and operational reports to improve practice performance.
• Organize and lead monthly Physician/Management meetings, including agenda setting, data preparation, and decision-making.
• Enforce compliance with hospital policies and procedures, and communicate updates to staff.
• Act as a delegate for administrative functions in the absence of the Director.

Requirements

• 4-year Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of relevant education and experience in lieu of a degree.
• Completion and maintenance of all required competencies and trainings for the role.
• 3+ years of Practice Manager experience.
• Experience managing Surgical Practices preferred.
• Experience in ENT and Ophthalmology preferred.
• EPIC experience.
• Experience in a pediatric setting preferred.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Start and end times require flexibility to meet the needs of the practice.
