The Practice Manager

The Practice Manager (PM) oversees all aspects of the location's business operations. As a team leader at a "people first" organization, the PM guides their team through development programs of coaching, mentoring, and performance management. They are responsible for enhancing patient experiences, driving sales, controlling expenses, and improving profitability to meet the company's business objectives.

• Guides team through development programs of coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Ensures memorable patient experiences and drives top line sales, increasing margin and profitability.
• Works directly with staff and OD partners to provide professional eye exams, medical services, quality product selection, and exceptional patient service.
• Builds an effective team that collaborates to achieve results, addressing unique strengths and challenges with clear objectives, strategies, and plans.
• Identifies and recruits top talent that aligns with AEG's values and ensures long-term sustainability.
• Collaborates with the District Manager to achieve and exceed financial plans for the practice.
• Adapts quickly to new problems, seeking creative solutions, and shares best practices within the AEG platform.
• Ensures efficient resource utilization, orchestrating multiple activities to accomplish various goals through superior service.
• Reviews daily sales, identifies gaps, and implements solutions to close those gaps.
• Reinforces the practice selling strategy and the Acuity Way, protecting the company through loss prevention.
• Partners with Human Resources to ensure employees adhere to handbook guidelines.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional setting background with leadership capacity.
• Business Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related experience in management field.
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
• Optician Certification preferred.
