About the role

As a Delivery Consultant on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) team, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will drive customer success through their cloud journey by providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. With a deep understanding of AWS products and services, you will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer's needs. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As a trusted advisor, you will guide customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, leading the implementation process while ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Lead the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks.
  • Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
  • Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies.
  • Experience leading the migration or implementation of a mission-critical healthcare platform, EHR environment, or similarly complex enterprise workload to AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with compliance & security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to executives and non-technical leaders.
  • AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
  • AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional).
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
  • Experience leading the end-to-end migration, implementation, or modernization of an Epic EHR environment on AWS, including architecture, planning, testing, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.
  • Deep knowledge of Epic technical infrastructure, including Chronicles/InterSystems IRIS, ECP, Hyperspace, Hyperdrive, Interconnect, production and non-production environments, disaster recovery, and integrated third-party applications.
  • Experience collaborating directly with Epic technical teams, healthcare customers, and delivery partners on infrastructure sizing, performance validation, technical readiness, and go-live activities.

Pay

The base salary range for this position varies by location:

  • New Jersey (Jersey City), New York (New York): $201,000 - $272,000 USD annually.
  • Texas (Dallas), Virginia (Arlington, Herndon), Washington (Seattle): $182,800 - $247,300 USD annually.

Your compensation package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
