About the role
The TMS & Mental Health Care Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting both Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) services and broader mental health care coordination within a clinical setting. This position guides patients through the full continuum of care—from initial consultation and insurance authorization to treatment planning, scheduling, and ongoing follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient consultations and concisely document findings.
- Serve as a liaison between care providers and patients.
- Use an Electronic Health Record system.
- Build trust and rapport with patients to improve care.
- Communicate the benefits of treatment to patients.
- Utilize clinical information and medical necessity criteria to communicate care plans to insurance case managers, facility staff, and healthcare partners.
- Refer clients to TMS treatments based on eligibility and individual need.
- Prepare and discuss financial obligations and insurance coverage with clients.
- Complete TMS Certification (training and certification provided during initial employment).
- Administer TMS treatments to patients suffering from mental illness.
Requirements
- High-level understanding and proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and Google Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with employees at all levels.

- Excellent in-person and phone communication skills.
- Strong time management to handle a variety of tasks.
- Interpersonal skills for positive patient interaction.
- Organization skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience as a medical, beauty, or cosmetic surgery consultant in the sales industry preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of excellent customer service experience.
- Mental health experience preferred.
