About the role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms in a steam boiler environment.
• Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
• Must be experienced in Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel.
• Must be experienced in taking your own measurements and using power tools.

Qualifications

• At least three years Pipefitter experience in an industrial construction setting.
• Committed to safety at all times.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screen.

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements

• Able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign.
• Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas.
• Able to maintain full range of motion and balance while climbing ladders.
• Able to hear and respond to voice commands and alarms.
• Able to see, perceive depth, and distinguish colors necessary for working at heights and on uneven surfaces.
• Must wear safety steel-toe shoes.
