PPM Pipefitter (DOM SC) 6.5
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms
- Assist pipefitter with installation of the piping system
- Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products
Qualifications & Experience
- At least three years Pipefitter experience in Industrial Construction setting
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must possess sufficient strength and stamina to perform technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms, and other job-related noises
- Must have visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination consistent with working at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required
