About the role
The Systems Group seeks an energetic Pipefitter to join our Butler, IN team. This role involves handling daily tasks and contributing to long-term operational strategies.
Responsibilities
- Selects pipe and related materials and equipment based on job specifications.
- Inspects the worksite for obstructions and plans installation sequences to avoid conflicts with other workers.
- Cuts, threads, bends, and mounts pipe using various tools and machines.
- Sets up pipe hangers and brackets to support pipes securely.
- Performs minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
- Observes and adheres to safety rules and company policies.
Qualifications / Skills
- Attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with coworkers.
- Proficiency in reading labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
- Experience with OSHA-approved Met-Guard boots (company provides annual allowance).
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
