PP&C Analyst II - Integrated Scheduling

About the role

As a PP&C Analyst II, you will work independently to perform project planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting activities, and customer order management for assigned programs and projects. You will analyze and interpret data from NNSA, Design Labs, and internal ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and facilitate project plans supporting weapon program development and qualification activities.
• Report project plan status and present recovery plans at customer review meetings.
• Negotiate changes to project plans with internal and external customers to meet approved schedules.
• Use supply chain knowledge and FM&T ERP/MRP systems to gather required data.
• Participate in business improvement changes and problem-solving to enhance organizational efficiency using Six Sigma tools.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Prepare, analyze, monitor, and report cost estimates for multiple complex reimbursable contracts to prevent cost overruns.
• Monitor reimbursable customer orders, acting as the FM&T point-of-contact for order administration, and manage scope, schedule, and cost for assigned projects.
• Determine and recommend workload priorities in support of program objectives with supply chain organizations (e.g., Manufacturing/Operations, Reservoirs, Telemetry, Procurement & Materiel Management).
• Collect business intelligence to assist in contract proposal development for new business.
• Monitor, evaluate, and analyze project actuals (hourly, salary, material, travel, other) vs. forecast, budgets, or baselines.
• Identify incorrect charging (labor, material, other) and support the Project Lead in remediation.
• Perform variance analysis and required reporting/communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience; OR 4 years of relevant experience.
• United States citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, PeopleSoft, and ERP software.
• Knowledge of project/program financial management and scheduling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Understanding of supply chain management tools and processes.
