About the Role

Powertrain Solutions is a provider of diversified powertrain products and solutions across all market segments, with a portfolio ranging from gasoline and diesel injection systems, electronics control units and software, to electrified powertrains with battery and fuel cell technologies. We are the customer innovation management team within Bosch’s Powertrain Solutions (PS) division, responsible for all technical collaboration activities with our customers in North America. We support our customers on their path to a CO₂-neutral and zero-emission future, leveraging a global pool of cutting-edge technology development to engage customers and carry these technologies from innovation to series production.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the engineering interface to North American customers for internal combustion engine, hybrid powertrains, electrification, fuel cell, thermal management, electronics, software, and connected powertrain projects.
  • Manage and coordinate all internal and external stakeholders on powertrain innovation and acquisition programs.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure portfolio alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage customers on advanced engineering collaborations and product innovation activities.
  • Act as the technical interface and voice-of-the-customer to sales and R&D teams for pre-selling activities.

Technology Domains: Internal combustion engines, Electrification/Hybrids, Thermal Management, Software & Controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of powertrain and thermal management technologies at the system level.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an engineering, innovation, or project management role with interface to external customers.
  • High degree of motivation to bring innovations to fruition in direct engagement with customers.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills paired with a strategic and result-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a diverse, multi-national organization by forming long-term relationships based on trust and commitment.
  • Ability to adapt in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., German, French, Italian) are a plus.

Pay

Pay ranges generally reflect base salary; certain positions may include bonus, commission, or additional benefits.

Additional Information

This role is open to individuals with indefinite U.S. work authorization; future sponsorship for work authorization is unavailable. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
