Powersports Salesperson

Responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout every step of the vehicle purchasing process while providing an outstanding customer experience
• Present and demonstrate motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft, and other powersports products to customers
• Build relationships with customers to understand their wants, needs, and riding interests
• Guide customers through pricing, financing options, trade evaluations, and purchase decisions
• Negotiate directly with customers in a professional and customer-focused manner
• Explain vehicle features, accessories, and available upgrades
• Maintain strong product knowledge on current inventory, new models, and industry trends
• Follow up with customers before and after the sale to build long-term relationships and encourage repeat business
• Work closely with the finance and management teams to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Two to four year college degree preferred, but not required
• 1-2+ years sales and customer service experience preferred
• Powersports sales background preferred, but not required
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Strong written and communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Current, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

Working conditions

Indoor and outdoor. Day will be spent at desk working with customers or on the lot showing vehicles.
