Power Systems Engineering Regional Manager - Southeast

About the role

The Regional Manager for Power Systems Engineering leads a high-performing team of engineering leaders and field-based Power Systems Engineers who deliver critical services to Eaton's customers. This role involves shaping strategy, driving operational excellence, developing top talent, owning regional business performance, and championing a culture focused on safety, accountability, and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support a high-performing team through talent acquisition, coaching, performance management, employee development, retention, and guidance on technical, commercial, project management, sales, and negotiation matters.
• Be responsible for efficient execution of projects, executing to sales quotes, cost control, leveraging subcontractors, inventory management, and turning around backlog and projects.
• Own P&L performance for assigned territory including accurate forecasting, oversight of team utilization, inventory management, and overall sales execution.
• Act as a product line liaison for Sales and Marketing to help develop customer relationships and create orders.
• Maintain effective relationships with key customers to help generate long-term business.
• Identify and drive improvements for the overall Power Systems Engineering business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience working in the electrical industry.
• Minimum of 3 years leading teams or business operations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution preferred.
• Experience with power systems engineering practices preferred.
• PE license preferred.

Benefits

This role is eligible for a variable incentive program. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. Eaton does not offer relocation assistance for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of one of the locations listed on the job posting to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from the geographical area limitation. This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record.

Pay

The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role with approximately 25% travel throughout the Southeast region.
