What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a team responsible for power systems design and development across multiple product lines.
- Drive collaboration across engineering platforms and technical teams to develop integrated solutions.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with engine, hydraulic, and driveline partners.
- Define and execute power system development and validation strategies with internal experts and suppliers.
- Coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent, fostering technical growth and team performance.
- Lead new product introduction efforts, ensuring alignment with quality, timing, and engineering standards.
- Provide input into engineering processes, resource planning, and project budgets.
- Oversee the creation, detailing, and release of engineering drawings and CAD models (Autodesk Inventor).
- Collaborate globally with cross-functional teams and support international initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends and adapt team capabilities to support emerging technologies.
What We're Looking For
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to influence across functions.
- Deep technical expertise in engine, hydraulic, and driveline systems for heavy equipment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal teams and external partners.
- Experience developing engineering processes and driving continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in CAD systems (Autodesk Inventor preferred) and engineering documentation.
- Able to work effectively across global teams and diverse cultural environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of engineering experience in power systems within heavy equipment industries.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
- PREFERRED: Master’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in material handling, construction, or agricultural equipment industries.
