Power Performance Design Engineer, Powersports

About the role

We are seeking a qualified engineer to support the development of prototype ATV/SxS vehicles, focusing on research, application of new technologies, and maintaining global product quality.

Responsibilities

• Designing component and system layouts using CAD software, creating detailed specifications, and ensuring manufacturing requirements are met with minimal supervision
• Manage project schedules, communicate progress, and coordinate resources effectively
• Contribute ideas for technological innovations and support market quality initiatives through problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Develop cost-effective designs, optimize parts, and meet development targets

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering related fields
• Experience in automotive or powersports engineering preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and confidentiality skills
• Proficiency in FTA, FMEA, tolerance analysis, CAD drawing, and product development schedules
• Analytical problem-solving, decision-making, and technical expertise

Working conditions

• Travel may be required, including possible overseas trips
• Primarily desk work with frequent computer use
• Exposure to typical office and shop hazards
• Overtime may be necessary based on project demands
