About the Role
We are seeking a skilled engineer to contribute to the development of prototype ATV/SxS vehicles, focusing on research, applying new technologies, and maintaining global quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Design component and system layouts using CAD to meet concept, function, and manufacturing requirements with minimal supervision.
- Communicate specifications through detailed drawings to define final vehicle models for production.
- Manage cost targets by optimizing designs and implementing cost reduction ideas.
- Create and maintain project schedules, coordinate resources, and participate in meetings to ensure timely delivery.
- Support new technology ideas and assist in their development and application.
- Analyze root causes of quality issues and develop corrective measures as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering.
- Experience in automotive or Powersports engineering preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in FTA, FMEA, tolerance stack-ups, and CAD techniques.
- Ability to plan, schedule, and understand product development processes.
- Ability to operate with confidentiality.
Working Conditions
- Regular office work with occasional travel, including possible overseas trips.
- Primarily desk-based with keyboarding, limited physical activity.
