Design Engineer, Powersports

About the role

We are seeking a qualified engineer to contribute to the development of prototypes for ATV/SxS vehicles, focusing on researching and applying new technologies to support business goals and ensuring global vehicle quality.

Responsibilities

• Developing component and system layouts using CAD, communicating specifications through detailed drawings, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Optimizing designs to meet cost targets and contributing ideas for technological advancements.
• Managing work schedules, coordinating resources, and participating in project meetings to ensure timely delivery.
• Supporting market quality improvements by analyzing root causes and developing specifications.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in Powersports or automotive preferred.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in FTA, FMEA, tolerance analysis, and CAD techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and planning abilities.

Working conditions

Regular desk work with occasional travel, physical safety considerations, and overtime as needed, following all safety and departmental policies.
