Poultry Vaccination Foreman

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and attributes.

Responsibilities

• Learn the processes of the team and work alongside teammates to get the job done.
• Prepare work schedules and adjust to sudden changes in organizing workloads.
• Work flexible hours and be on call 24 hours/7 days a week.
• Ensure that all vaccination and move procedures are performed correctly by crew.
• Manage a crew with high efficiency and high quality standards.
• Properly handle vaccine in transport as well as in the chicken houses.
• Ensure the biosecurity of farms, equipment, area buildings, vehicles, etc.
• Complete schedules and service reports.
• Repair vaccination equipment, injection guns, water-vac pumps, etc.
• Perform blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and checking traps.
• Maintain health & safety of employees.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License (must drive the team to different locations per the weekly schedule).
• Experience in vaccinations and pullet moves.
• Good organizer with the ability to work and communicate well with others.
• Capable of physical work.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Background check required (per Aviagen Employee Handbook).
