Position Overview

Syracuse University’s Chemistry Department and the BioInspired Institute invite applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Dave Moz Lab. This role focuses on developing nature-inspired strategies to control the structure and mechanics of biopolymer condensates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct experimental research on soft condensed matter
  • Characterize the structure, interfaces, and mechanics of biopolymer condensates
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in the Chemistry Department and BioInspired Institute
  • Prepare and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
  • Contribute to the overall goals of the funded research project

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biophysics, Soft Matter Physics, Materials Science, or a related field
  • Strong background in experimental characterization of soft condensed matter
  • Demonstrated research productivity through peer-reviewed publications
