Responsibilities
- Pioneer research areas by intellectually engaging the group.
- Run experiments.
- Write proposals.
- Publish research results in peer-reviewed journals.
- Train undergraduate and graduate students and coordinate purchasing.
Requirements
- A doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, or closely related field is required.
- Prior publication record in the characterization of structure and dynamics of soft condensed matter using rheological, scattering, and other techniques.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with the production, isolation, and characterization of peptides/proteins is desired but not required.
