About the role
The Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences at the University of Arizona invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar with expertise in MR pulse sequence development and advanced image reconstruction. The successful candidate will contribute to NIH-funded research focused on developing and validating quantitative magnetic resonance imaging (qMRI) methods and applying these techniques to clinically relevant problems.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and validation of qMRI methods
- Apply qMRI techniques to clinically relevant problems
- Collaborate with clinical and research teams
- Present findings at scientific conferences
Requirements
- PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with MRI pulse sequence design and image reconstruction
- Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or similar languages
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
