About the role
The Center for Indigenous Health Research and Policy (CIHRP) at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in health promotion and disease prevention in Indigenous communities.
Responsibilities
- Engaging with Indigenous communities in community-based participatory research
- Recruiting and retaining study participants in research trials
- Manuscript preparation and submission
- Data collection activities with Indigenous adults and children
- Data analysis
- Working within a broad national network of Indigenous scholars and communities
Requirements
- Ph.D./Ed.D., DrPH, or Ph.D. in Public Health, Psychology, Nutrition, Sociology, or a related discipline
- Good scientific writing skills with a solid publication record
- Clinical research experience
- Strong quantitative data analytic skills
Skills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge
- Experience working in the fields of intervention science, cardiometabolic disease risk reduction, nutrition, health promotion, and/or previous study coordination experience on Federally-funded studies
- Good scientific writing skills with a solid publication record
- Clinical research experience
- Strong quantitative data analytic skills

Typical Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts, Work hours must be flexible to include evenings and weekends when necessary.
