About the role
The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research projects focused on advanced materials and computational modeling.
Responsibilities
- Conduct atomistic simulations and AI-driven molecular modeling
- Develop and analyze integrated building deployment models
- Model grid systems using high-performance computing and artificial intelligence
- Research condensed matter theory and computational solid mechanics
- Investigate advanced machining and machine tool research
- Study critical minerals and materials extraction and processing
- Explore physical metallurgy of lightweight alloys
- Investigate integrated photonics and AI models for power grid system
- Study quantum information science and dynamics in condensed matters
Requirements
- PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with computational methods and simulations
- Strong background in materials science and engineering
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Expertise in computational solid mechanics
- Understanding of advanced materials and their properties
- Experience with HPC and AI tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or similar programming languages
