About the role

The Kamphorst Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to lead projects focused on immune-cell interactions that regulate response to cancer immunotherapy. The project will investigate how CD4 T cells, CD8 T cells, and antigen-presenting cells interact within the liver tumor microenvironment in response to PD-1 targeted therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Design and perform experiments related to T cell biology and tumor immunology.
  • Critically analyze data quality and results, and communicate findings to scientists and lay audiences.
  • Write or assist in writing scientific papers and grants.
  • Collaborate closely with other scientists to conduct research.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Immunology or related Biological Science required.
  • Experience working in a research laboratory setting.
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques (cloning), advanced flow cytometry and tissue imaging, and in vivo work with mice is required.
  • Computational skills are desired.

Salary

The salary range for the role is $72,500 - $80,000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
