  • A PhD is required
  • Prior experience working with murine models of PTOA-associated cartilage catabolism and pain using pharmacologic treatments

Responsibilities

  • Use (JAK inhibitors), histological (SafO/Fast Green and H&E stains), IHC or IF staining for cartilage catabolic and pain-related molecules, as well as cellular (cartilage and dorsal root ganglia explant cultures) and molecular (qPCR, RNA-seq) analyses
  • Generate data associated with the pharmacologic regulation of JAK signaling in PTOA-associated cartilage catabolism and pain
  • Aid in the analysis and interpretation of that data
  • Participate in manuscript preparations and revisions, and present data
