Post Surgery Care Aide

Responsibilities

• Be a genuine and supportive companion
• Personal care
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with walking, mobility, and physical therapy exercises
• Accompany clients to doctor’s appointments, stores, etc.
• Plan and prepare meals
• Alzheimer/Dementia care assistance
• Perform light housekeeping

Requirements

• Reliable and strong work history
• Minimum of one-year professional experience working with seniors (examples: in-home care, independent/assisted living/memory care community, hospital and rehab)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Current TB or Chest X-ray; Current CPR Certification (both due upon hire)
• Reliable transportation

Pay

Schedule

Flexible schedule available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week based on availability. FLSA status: Non-exempt, hourly.
