Overview

The College of Agriculture at Auburn University located in Auburn, Alabama (www.ag.auburn.edu) is seeking candidates for the position Post-Doctoral Fellow in various disciplines of agricultural sciences. Positions are available for a minimum period of one year for a 12-month appointment, subject to annual renewal based on funding, need and satisfactory performance for a maximum period of four years.

Responsibilities

We are seeking applications from individuals with a PhD in one of the following areas at the time employment begins: Agricultural Economics; Animal Sciences; Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences; Biosystems/Agricultural Engineering; Entomology; Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences; Food Science; Horticulture; Plant Pathology; Poultry Science; and Rural Sociology or related fields.

Qualifications

  • A PhD in one of the areas of expertise listed above at the time employment begins.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must possess eligibility to work in the United States at the time appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment.
